What is support work?

Support work is hands-on, day-to-day assistance that helps you live the life you choose. A support worker is someone who helps you with everyday tasks — not by doing everything for you, but by working alongside you so you can do more independently over time.

At Snapdragon, your support worker gets to know you — your routines, your goals, and the way you like to do things. We match you with someone who fits your personality, not just your schedule.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know my support worker is a good match?

We take matching seriously. Before we introduce a support worker, we consider your personality, interests, communication style, and goals — not just your availability windows. If the fit isn't right, we'll find someone who is. No pressure, no awkwardness.

Absolutely. You're always in control. If something doesn't feel right — for any reason — just let us know and we'll arrange a new match as quickly as possible.

Yes. Support work is funded under Core Supports — Daily Activities (line item 01_011_0107_1_1). If you're unsure what your plan covers, our team can help you work through it, or we can liaise with your Support Coordinator directly.

We're based in Albury Wodonga and support participants across the surrounding region. Contact us to confirm availability in your area.
